The Surgical Sculpture team brings you high fidelity anatomy trainers and realistically rendered surgical simulators, to enhance your clinical practice. The company is founded and led by UK consultant plastic surgeons. Our purpose is to support the development of confident, competent surgeons and clinicians worldwide.

Meet the Team

Francis Peart

MBBCh., BSc., FRCS., F.C.S
Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon (Retired)

Francis Peart, a now retired plastic surgeon, is the originator of this teaching platform, and is now seeing his long-held vision become a reality. He employs his anatomical and surgical insights, coupled with skills in sculpture and 3D printing, to develop the high fidelity models used in the courses.

Tom Pidgeon

Consultant Plastic Surgeon, West Midlands

Tom is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He has worked with and developed Surgical Sculpture since 2018. Tom's view of anatomy and surgical training is that it is an ever evolving journey, with constant iterative improvements applied throughout an entire career. Tom's hope is that Surgical Sculpture will improve the confidence and competence of clinicians seeking to enhance their practice, for the betterment of the care they can provide to their patients.

Heidi is an award-winning consultant with over 30 years of experience in business management and operations, driving successful start-ups and investments across a diverse range of industries

The following are consultant surgeons with whom Surgical Sculpture is privileged to work. They are credentialed faculty and able to instruct on Surgical Sculpture courses independently.

Nathalie Caine – consultant surgeon and credentialed faculty member

Ms Nathalie Cain

Credentialed in: Hand & Wrist, Facial Aesthetics

Ms Nathalie Cain is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby with an interest in peripheral nerve surgery and spasticity. She also has an aesthetic practice with experience in non-surgical facial rejuvenation and facial cosmetic surgery. She is an international trainer for Merz Aesthetics Ltd and runs a training course for plastic surgeons in injectables.

Rajive Jose – consultant surgeon and credentialed faculty member

Mr Rajive Jose

Credentialed in: Hand & Wrist

Mr Rajive Jose is a Consultant in Hand Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham. He qualified at Pondicherry University, India in 1994. He gained his specialist training in Plastic Surgery through the West Midlands rotation. He completed the Advanced Training Post in Hand Surgery in Birmingham and also completed the Pulvertaft Hand Fellowship at Derby. He has also completed the British Hand Diploma organised by BSSH and Manchester University. His special interests include soft tissue reconstruction of hand including microsurgery and adult congenital hand surgery.

He is a faculty for several regional and national courses. He has authored several scientific papers. He has authored three books and several book chapters. His other interests include painting, sculpting and writing. He was the runner up of the BMA News creative writing competition for doctors in 2012.
